Saw this today and loved it. Ms. Lead Actor/Writer/Producer Rashida Jones did a fab job and it was a different enough romantic comedy (while still keeping to many of the familiar tropes) that I felt very satisfied with how everything resolved itself.
Can. not. wait. Did you know that Rashida Jones not only stars in this but she wrote it?

AMY POEHLER: It’s satisfying to have a female relationship on TV that isn’t like, when one leaves, the other one is rolling their eyes, like “What an idiot.” It was important to Rashida and I to create a story of why these two would actually become friends, otherwise Leslie just seems like a cartoon, and Ann just seems like she doesn’t care about anything. We worked hard to figure out what it would be about the two of them in this small town where they would find each other. And I just think Leslie has a crush on Ann. A friendship crush.
